Anesthesia

There are many types of Anesthesia used in Oral Surgery.  Dr. William Paul can make you oral surgery experience a more relaxed and comfortable experience by using many types of anesthesia including:

  • Local Anesthesia (Numbing the Area to Be Treated with an Injection of Medication)
  • General Anesthesia (Going to Sleep)
  • Intravenous Anesthesia (Injection of Sedative / Anesthetic Drugs into a Vein to Produce an Altered Level of Consciousness)
  • Nitrous Oxide or “Laughing Gas” (Can Be Used to Help Achieve a Relaxed Effect Either Alone or in Combination with One of the Other Techniques)
